About Us

The Friends of Carlisle Parks is a 501c3 Non-profit that was established in 2016 to support, enhance and help make progress in the Carlisle parks and green spaces. Our mission to enhance these spaces is to be accomplished by raising funds for park projects, organizing and installing projects, and raising awareness about the wonderful outdoor recreational opportunities that are available to citizens of Carlisle and the surrounding area.

For 2017 and the near future, FOCP hopes to help with the construction of parking facilities at the Scotch Ridge Nature Park, continue with tree plantings and replacements at all City parks, and conduct family outdoor events involving the new bike trail that connects the City to the Nature Park and the wild beauty in between.
